Conductor:
Plain annealed copper complying with BS6360, Class 2. 1.5-16mm˛ circular stranded, 25-400mm˛ shaped stranded.
Insulation:
Extruded XLPE complying with BS7655: section 1.3, type GP8.
Core identification:
White with Black numbers printed on the cores.
Lay Up & Bedding:
The cores are laid up in concentric layers and covered with an extruded layer of polymeric compound having a tensile strength of not less than 4N/mm˛ and an elongation at break not less than 50%
Armour:
A single layer of galvanized steel wires is laid in a left hand direction.
Sheath:
An extruded layer of synthetic material according to BS7655: Section 6.1, type LTS1.
