Conductor:
Plain annealed copper complying with BS 6360, 1.5 - 16mm˛ circular stranded, 25 - 400 mm˛ shaped stranded.
Insulation:
Extruded XLPE complying with BS7655: section 1.3, type GP8.
Core identification:
White with black printed numbers on the cores
Lay Up & Bedding:
The cores are laid up in concentric layers and covered with an extruded layer of polymeric compound having a tensile strength of not less than 4N/mm˛ and an elongation at break not less than 50%
Armour:
A single layer of galvanised steel wires is laid in a left hand direction.
Sheath:
Black PVC complying with BS7655: Section 4.2, type 9.
