APR Cables SIHF/P Silicone Cable Data Sheet

Multicore silicone insulated and sheathed SiHF/P cable is suitable where PVC insulated cable becomes brittle due to high temperature variations. Suitable for power and control, in process work where continual temperatures are - 60° C to + 180° C. SIHF/P is suitable for use in various industries such as cold stores, potteries and bakeries. Due to its high temperature capabilities it can also be used for ignition leads. The galvanised steel wire braid offers mechanical protection.

Core identification:

2 cores: Brown & Blue, 3 cores: Brown, Blue and Green/Yellow, 4 cores: Brown, Blue, Black and Green/Yellow, 5 cores: Brown, Blue, 2 x Black and Green/Yellow, 6 cores and over: Black with White numbers and one Green/Yellow protective core.

Sheath:

Reddish brown (brick red) silicone with a galvanised steel wire overall braid.

Range of temperature:

- 60° C to + 180° C

300/500 volts, Test: 2000 volts
